After I finished the first side of my jeans embroidery, which I did in order to cover the failing stretch denim, I decided that I couldn’t wear these with the embroidery on only one side. Both sides should have the design.
So I patched the other side over just like I did with the first, with a patch of the same dark stretch denim. Then I stencilled the mirror image of the design on to follow, and began stitching..
This time I decided to document my work, since it’s the last chance I’d have to do so before I completed it. It’s been a big project with a lot of hand sewing, and I wanted to capture some of the final phase of the process:
