Here’s the first skeins from the carded roving in this earlier post. It’s a two ply spin and measures up to be 10 – 12 WPI, which places it in the worsted/DK category.

- 75% Alpaca, Origin: Washington State, from the raw fleece, washed, combed and carded by me.
- 10% Lincoln Longwool, from prewashed fleece, combed and carded by me.
- 10% Merino Wool
- 5% Silk
I’m not sure if I’ll dye them. I had wanted to try yarn dyeing originally, and I may still do that, but for now I’m leaving them natural.
