I’ve been busy processing alpaca lately….I visited a farm and bought some fleece. Washing, combing, carding, spinning. This is my first experience prepping raw fleece for spinning, and if you’ve seen my Instagram feed then you’ve seen part of the process. I had to buy some wool combs for this, it was the only way see the process through to the end. Here you see the washed, combed and carded fleece, spun on the wheel:



Washington State alpaca, spun on my Louet S10 wheel. Absolute nirvana with nature. I hope I got it right.
