This is the final block of my twin size quilt. I put a lot of thought into this one because it’s the last. I did more elaborate piecing as a result.

Now comes the assembly.
I may attempt traditional quilting for the preservation of the blocks. I’ve noticed that quilting of each block keeps the fabric from fraying and aging. This is the main attraction of doing so. Otherwise tufting is easier, but the fabric shifts more over time because it’s not battened down, which causes premature wear.
I think that in the end quilting will win, but it’s gonna be a lot of work.
