Tabi is the Japanese name for what’s often referred to in the West as flip-flop socks. I recently finished the pair I began back in December. That brings my total wardrobe count up to 4 pairs. Yes, I really like this style, because I wear flip flops and I don’t like to force my feet into them while wearing regular socks!
I made a pattern departure this time. I took a basic sock pattern and designed the toe sections. I also made some fitting adjustments because, as I explained in my last post, I’m tired of loose fitting socks.
These socks were made with Paton’s Kroy sock yarn in the Blue Raspberry colorway.
