I had some leftover chiffon from my last project that I wanted to make use of because of how much I really dig the print! I decided to make a scarf out of it, which I thought would be good for the cooler spring mornings. I put my hand sewing skills to use by going traditional and hand sewing the hems. I was going for a rolled hem look. I didn’t want a line of machine stitching to be visible. The scarf is made by the joining of 2 pieces, which I machine stitched. I didn’t want the join to show, so I drafted an insert for the midsection to cover it. Sorry I didn’t get a pic of that! Oh well. The finished scarf is the main thing. I just love the colors!
