For this week’s retrospective, I’ve chosen to show you a vest that I made a few years back. The pattern is a basic vest pattern, but what makes this vest special is the fabric. Its a Robert Kaufman silkscreen print on cotton. The artist is Janet Blumenthal. This print is now discontinued, and is collectible if you can find it. It was part of the Pleasures and Pastimes collection.
The print is one directional and also a side to side mural. I worked very carefully to ensure that both fronts matched. I think I succeeded 🙂
